The Project
DESK RESET
The European Desk Reset project started in November 2021 and will end in August 2024. This European project funded by the Erasmus + programme brings together six partners from several European countries (Belgium, Greece, Italy, France).
The ambition of all these partners is to develop and implement a project around the evolution of the practices of reception and information officers in Lifelong guidance centres.
More specifically, the project will enable to train the reception staff of the lifelong guidance centres in order to strengthen their skills and allow them to adapt to the evolution of their practices.

The Portfolio of 21st reception practices in Lifelong Guidance should enable the project to reach the following expected outcomes:
- Greater interest of European Lifelong guidance professionals in desk reception practices.
- Better knowledge among European stakeholders of new desk reception practices implemented in lifelong guidance.
- Increase in new methods, tools and resources for desk-reception officers in lifelong guidance in Europe.
- Increase in the number of new innovative practices tested within the lifelong guidance desk reception in Europe.

The Skills Repository and Non-formal Validation Framework should enable the project to reach the following expected outcomes:
- Better up-to-date knowledge among European stakeholders of the skills needed to perform the function of desk reception officer today in lifelong guidance.
- Better up-to-date knowledge among European stakeholders of the job profile and the missions of the reception officer in lifelong guidance.
- Better recognition of the role and the professional skills of desk reception officers in lifelong guidance.
