Desk Reset project has been launched in November 20121 with the objective to strengthen the quality of front desk reception services in lifelong guidance centres. To achieve this objective, the project aim to upskill the function of reception officer in lifelong guidance centres and to ease the development by lifelong guidance centres of new reception practices adapted to the needs of the citizens. Desk Project is a European Erasmus + project which gathers 7 partners from four differents countries: Italy, Beligum, France and Spain.
The main purpose of this event is to present the Desk Reset project, its objectives, the activities organised in the framework of the project and the deliverables that will be produced. The event will provide an opportunity to present the results and first insights from activities already implemented within the project since it beginning one year ago.
A presentation of a first version of a repository of competences of the reception officer in lifelong guidance spaces will be made. As a complement to this competences framework, professionals working in the reception/information area of lifelong guidance centres will give an account of their daily practices based on the user-centred principle. This event will also be an opportunity to offer participants feedback on local consultations organised with citizens to find out their needs in terms of reception and information in lifelong guidance centres. Lastly, the first innovative practices in the field of reception and information in lifelong guidance will be shared with the participants of the event
